Youth: 12-14 years old
The youth training is planned to emphasize enjoyment, advanced skills, refinement of technique and racing. The training sessions will focus on:
- Overall Fitness Development
- Refinement of swimming technique
- Intermediate bike skills
- Advanced running technique
- Develop/enhance interest for the sport
The athletes will receive a weekly training plan through Training Peaks. The plans are individually prepared in accordance to the fitness level and specific goals of each athlete.
The swim training is done at the Noosa Aquatic Centre through the platinum and junior squad program with coach Joe.
Timetable schedule:
Wednesday 6.45am – Run at Giraween Sports Complex
Thursday 7.15am – Bike at Giraween Sports Complex
Weekends – Several locations in Sunshine Coast.
Monthly cost: $200
Casual session: $15
Private session: $60
